I’m going to be real…after I did this workout, I was sore for DAYS!!!
I did this workout in a strength training class that I taught last week. After class, I could barely walk up the stairs to leave the gym. My quads and glutes were sore for two days after this workout.
I used an 18-pound bar during the squats and lunges to make it a bit more challenging. You could also hold dumbbells at your sides to add some extra weight.
This is a perfect workout to do at-home, especially during the holidays when the gym is closed and you’re indulging a bit more.
Make sure you warm up before the workout and cool down and stretch after. As always, consult your doctor before beginning a new workout routine, and listen to your body as you are working out. Do what you can!
