Blueberry Vanilla Smoothie Bowl

Change up your usual smoothie by making a spoonable smoothie bowl! This Blueberry Vanilla Smoothie Bowl is sweet and delicious, and makes a perfect healthy breakfast or snack.

If you’ve ever considered eating ice cream for breakfast, then you must start your morning with a smoothie bowl.

I made this delicious blueberry vanilla smoothie bowl, and totally felt like I was eating dessert for breakfast.

This would also be a good one for kids because this breakfast is full of antioxidants, nutrients and vitamins, but its delicious and fun to eat.

To get the amazing vanilla flavor in this smoothie bowl, I used my favorite plant protein powder. The one that I use is non-GMO, soy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free and free of artificial flavors, colors and preservatives. When you’re using a protein powder, I think it’s best to find one that is as clean and natural as possible.

The plant protein powder that I use is made with pea, chia, pumpkin, hemp and quinoa, and has 100 calories and 14 grams of protein per serving. It’s also the best tasting protein powder I’ve ever tried. A lot of protein powders can be grainy and too sweet, but this one is smooth and has a rich vanilla flavor.

Blueberry Vanilla Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen organic blueberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 scoop vanilla plant protein powder
  • 3 ice cubes
  • Desired toppings - chia seeds, hemp seeds, coconut flakes, fresh organic blueberries

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add more almond milk until you reach your desired consistency. The consistency should be like soft serve ice cream.
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with desired toppings.
  3. Enjoy!
