Body Positive Women You Must Follow on Social Media

It’s time to unfollow social media accounts that no longer serve you, and create a feed full of body positivity that leaves you feeling empowered and confident.

One of the best things that I did to my social media feeds was unfollowing everyone who was promoting dieting, posting before and after pictures, sharing weight loss tips, or posting fitspo photos.

I noticed that when I saw these types of posts, they made me feel self-conscious and less than. While I love social media, it can be so easy to compare ourselves and our lives to other people’s highlight reels.

When you’re scrolling your social media feeds, start to notice how each post makes you feel.

As I unfollowed the social media accounts that were no longer serving me, I started following women who had positive messages about their bodies. My social media feed felt less like a toxic place to me and more like an empowering and happy space.

I wanted to share some of the women that I’ve been following lately who promote respecting and trusting your body as it is in this moment. All of these women are anti-diet and many of them (like Tess Holliday and Bethany Meyers) promote feeling good in your body through movement that feels best to you.

All of these women really embody the fact that you can be healthy at any size and show that all bodies are beautiful.
