These energy balls might just be my favorite yet!
I had a craving for gingerbread cookies, but I didn’t want to go to all the work of finding a dairy-free gingerbread cookie recipe, making sure I had all of the ingredients and baking.
So I threw together these energy balls in about 10 minutes and I got to enjoy all the flavors of gingerbread cookies! These even contain good-for-you plant protein.
These energy balls taste like gingerbread cookie dough. Seriously. So so delicious.
I used my favorite plant protein powder in vanilla and almond flour to add a boost of protein. I also used delicious spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves to give these energy balls that gingerbread flavor.
The key ingredient in these energy balls is molasses. Molasses actually contains vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamin B6 and selenium.
I made two batches of these energy balls because I knew they would go fast….and they did.
