This delicious healthified cocktail is full of good-for-you probiotics.
I was recently out for drinks with some girlfriends, and as I looked over the cocktail menu I couldn’t find one drink that wasn’t a total sugar bomb.
Most cocktails contain sugar in the form of simple syrup or soda or in the form of artificial sweetener in pre-made mixes or diet soda. Not only do these cocktails add tons of extra calories to your diet, but all that sugar will leave you feeling gross.
I love making super simple cocktails at home. I also love using kombucha because it adds some natural sweetness and good-for-you probiotics.
I love GT’s Lavender Love Kombucha because it’s a beautiful color and has a subtle lavender flavor. It pairs perfectly with dry champagne to make a not-too-sweet cocktail.
I also added a drop of lavender essential oil to this cocktail.
When using essential oils in recipes, it’s super important to use oils that are not made with synthetics, contaminants, or fillers. I only use Young Living oils because of their seed to seal standards. Young Living uses rigorous quality control standards, sources plants from carefully vetted farms, tests those farms extensively, uses third party testing, and uses sustainably sourced plants.
Young Living has a line of essential oils called Vitality oils that are specifically for using in recipes. You can find Lavender Vitality here.
